Meet Donna
Hi, I'm Donna, the head Number Junkie around here.
Like any good analytical type, I have always felt the need to understand businesses and processes from end to end. Like a mechanic who troubleshoots engines, I need to find out how your business works (or doesn't). Whenever possible I implement changes that positively effect employees and help companies save time and money by streamlining processes.
I didn't just decide one day to quit working as an employee and “hang out my shingle” to call myself a business owner. Instead, knowing that I was an entrepreneur at heart, I developed a wide skill set strategically pursued in the areas of accounting and information technology. I knew one day when I was ready, I would own and manage a successful company that provides services in the areas of accounting and process design.
I am completely confident in my abilities to serve clients well by drawing upon the wide range of experience developed over my 20+ year career. My entrepreneurial path started during employment with chartered accounting firms, through consulting houses as part of project teams implementing enterprise level accounting and operational software solutions, and ending as Corporate Manager for a multi-divisional private company as Network Administrator. All of this experience is backed by continual education and software certifications.
For me, helping other entrepreneurs is like a partnership – I want you to succeed in your business just as much as I want my own business to succeed. I relate to your growing pains and know the value of good business planning. I also know about making tough decisions.
Since starting my own consulting company in 2006, I learned very quickly that there are more small businesses out there than I can support on my own, so I went on the hunt for like-minded people with similar business experience.
With my growing team of bookkeepers, I created Number Junkies Inc. Truly successful companies attribute their success to having the right people and it is the hands-on workers doing their job very well that allow the business to continue to grow. This is definitely the case with Number Junkies. We all love working with numbers and have the same strong desire to help our clients succeed.
